Community Involvement & Citizenship
Lindell Properties has committed over $2 million dollars to date in community support. More than just financial contributors, we take active roles as directors, board members, committee chairs and members while encouraging employee participation in these and other organizations:

Staff, at all levels, participates in charitable and civic groups and initiatives and play important roles in establishing cutting-edge opportunities with the complete support of Lindell Properties.  Some of which include:
However, Lindell Properties' special alliance between Wilderness Lake Preserve and Tampa 's Lowry Park Zoo raised the bar on how developers work with environmentalists.  This included the unique children's learning center - The Outpost in the Wilderness Lodge Nature Center.  This partnership is the first time ever that Lowry Park Zoo has been involved with a new residential community that allows it to reach not just to Wilderness Lake Preserve residents, but adults and children from the surrounding community as well. The opportunities for the alliance and "The Outpost" are endless, and present an exciting challenge for the community and the management of both Lindell Properties and the Zoo.

As programs are introduced and The Nature Center has expanded, so has involvement from people in Pasco County and counties to the north.   All of them, most especially local elementary schools, wish to take advantage of the center, the lake and the community's nature areas on the property by incorporating Wilderness Lake Preserve into their curricula and school field trip calendars.
